The client is looking for a candidate with a focus on basic cloud engineering Cloud deployment. This role will wear multiple hats assisting client Cloud Architects and team to comprehend objectives generate solutions POC the solution generate recommendations then implement the decisions.
The Entry-Level Cloud Engineer will support the clients cloud architecture and engineering teams in designing deploying and maintaining cloud-based solutions across public private and hybrid environments. This role is ideal for early career technologists who have foundational cloud knowledge and are eager to grow into a full cloud engineering or cloud architecture role.
The engineer will assist senior architects in understanding business objectives developing solution concepts performing proof of concepts and implementing cloud technologies that improve delivery automation and operational efficiency
Core Competencies
Ability to learn and apply cloud engineering concepts quickly.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret technical requirements and assist in developing cloud-based solutions.
Interest in automation DevOps and continuous improvement.
Clear communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across teams.
Other desired skills: Containerization Linux Database skills security and recovery web services and applications programming interfaces (APIs)
Support integration of cloud services with on-premises technologies (VMware Cisco Dell Nutanix etc.).
Leverage client Institutional knowledge to cloud engineering projects.
Create maintain and troubleshooting skills for cloud infrastructure
Highly Desirable
Foundational institutional knowledge of State of Michigan platforms cloud architecture security requirements and processes.
