The Opportunity

As an Application Engineer you will work with modern cloud technologies solve complex problems and contribute directly to national security. Responsibilities
Deliver configure and sustain secure hosting environments within commercial cloud platforms to support NSA missions.
Engineer install integrate operate secure test and maintain cloud service provider solutions across the enterprise.
Provide end-to-end support across network fabrics including cloud operations customer help desk assistance software migration and integration testing documentation security monitoring and release/configuration management.
Provision operate and support network infrastructures in environments leveraging PKI IPSEC SDN and VPN technologies.
Develop and manage networks designed for secure highly available operations.
Evaluate integrate and implement emerging cybersecurity tools and technologies such as DNS services routing solutions load balancers data flow systems auditing tools HIDS/NIDS antivirus technologies and more.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree:
Education/Experience substitutions: All education and experience must be in a technical field relevant to the role and all degrees or certificates must be from accredited institutions.
High School Diploma/GED: 12 years of relevant experience
Associates Degree: 10 years of relevant experience
Masters Degree: 6 years of relevant experience
Doctorate: 4 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Python
Hands-on experience with AWS
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Desired:
Experience with Azure
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)
