Clinical Technician, Dialysis

Job Title: Clinical Technician Dialysis
Location: Detroit MI
Duration: 13-Week Contract

Schedule:

• 4 x 10-Hour Shifts
• Shift Options: 4:00 AM 2:30 PM or 9:00 AM 7:30 PM
• Monday Saturday
• Must work 3 Saturdays within a 6-week period

Requirements:

• Active CCHT Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 3 Years of Dialysis Experience
• Must be able to independently perform dialysis treatments and flip pods
• Experience working under RN supervision
• Must successfully pass Medication Calculation and Dialysis Competency Exams during orientation

Responsibilities:

• Perform hemodialysis treatments independently in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare monitor and discontinue dialysis treatments while ensuring patient safety
• Monitor patients during treatment and report changes in condition to the RN
• Operate troubleshoot and maintain dialysis equipment
• Accurately document treatment data patient observations and clinical information
• Adhere to infection control safety and quality standards

• Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures and patient care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
