Inova Fair Oaks Hospital Perianesthesia is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be PRN Days 10Hrs: 8AM 9AM 9:30AM starts No weekends or holidays

Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Effectively communicates with team members patients and visitors.

Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

May perform additional duties as assigned

Training:

Clinical Technician Academy (CTA):

6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM 4:30PM

1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM 4:30PM

1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

• Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday Friday schedule regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician/related in an acute care setting; or completing acute care clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program.

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or obtain within 90 days of hire

Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
