Pay Range: Hourly Rate: $52.00 $64.00/hr (based on experience)
2nd Shift Differential: $2.00/hr
3rd Shift Differential: $4.25/hr
Extra Shift Premium: $3.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately into the pharmacy computer system
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications interactions allergies and appropriateness
• Sustain hospital formulary and promote rational drug therapy selection
• Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients
• Assist with clinical services: drug consults nutrition support pharmacokinetics anticoagulant monitoring pain management IV to PO renal dosing and other programs
• Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely
• Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions
• Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Education: B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required
• License: Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy required
• Experience: Minimum 1 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; will also accept candidates with PGY1 completion
• Strong team player with a desire for long-term growth
• PGY1 or hospital experience highly preferred
