Position Summary
The Clinical Director will oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs as well as manage the direct therapy staff and supporting BCBAs. This role includes collaboration with caregivers and ongoing analysis of client progress to ensure effective data-driven care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral and skill-based assessments including FBA VB-MAPP PEAK Vineland & ESDM (training for assessments provided)
- Develop implement and modify individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans
- Provide ongoing supervision training and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Analyze behavioral data and adjust treatment strategies as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support skill generalization across settings
- Maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards payer requirements and HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration clinical meetings and ongoing training initiatives
- Ensure treatment integrity safety procedures and quality assurance standards are upheld
- Oversee the clinics day-to-day staff operations
- Conduct monthly certified meetings
- Conduct quarterly direct therapy staff reviews
- Conduct annual reviews
- Deliver corrective action items as needed
- Report staffing needs to Human Resources
- Attend monthly management meetings
- Oversee discretionary budgets
- Attend trainings and workshops
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Special Education or related field
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication leadership organizational and time management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification and crisis management training preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation for local travel if applicable
