Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of: Dental school educational processes. Operative Prosthodontic and Restorative didactic concepts and techniques. Dental materials and emerging digital applications and other technology to clinical operative and restorative treatment. Strong computer proficiency including the ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office Suite email systems databases and other workplace software while quickly learning new technologies and digital tools as needed. Ability to: Effectively manage projects and deadlines. Demonstrated professionalism accountability and reliability in fulfilling academic and administrative responsibilities. Strong commitment to teamwork collegiality and timely communication and follow-through. Demonstrated ability to foster a positive collaborative and respectful team culture. Produce professional written reports and correspondence in a timely manner. Be organized. Experience: Minimum 2 years teaching experience. Clinical experience in all Restorative and Prosthodontic clinical procedures. Experience in leading and mentoring teams. Substantial experience and enthusiasm for course directing in Operative Dentistry. Commitment to evidence-based patient-centered and humanistic dental education. Education: DDS / DMD or international equivalent. Valid CPR certification. Hold or be eligible for a California Dental License.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of: Advanced training/qualifications in Operative Dentistry Restorative Dentistry Prosthodontics Dental Materials Cariology or a related discipline Experience: Experience in curriculum development course management assessment and student evaluation. Ability to: Strong organizational leadership and communication skills Communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients students staff faculty and administration. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work effectively in a group setting. Provide effective student and peer calibration and development. Maintain confidentiality of information. Demonstrate professional judgment in all situations.
