We are seeking a Mainframe DevOps Client Services Consultant to work directly with enterprise customersadvising implementing and optimizing Broadcom mainframe-related software solutions to help them amplify the value of their mainframe investments.

This is a high-visibility customer-facing role designed for a driven professional who can immediately establish credibility and deliver tangible value. As a technical specialist you will apply working knowledge of Mainframe Application Development and Operations Life Cycle Management principles with Broadcom tooling to drive clear delivery impact within complex customer environments.

Leveraging specialized knowledge in Endevor (and/or other competitive solutions) Zowe and/or REXX scripting you will bridge traditional mainframe environments with modern enterprise practices craft and deliver impactful recommendations and implement cutting-edge software solutions for our enterprise clients. If you thrive on driving architectural innovation and platform engineering excellence this position offers the autonomy and scope to guide mainframe organizations through critical technical evolutions.

Note: Ability to travel to client sites is required for this position.

• Strategic Account Collaboration: Partner closely with Broadcom Account Directors Solution Architects and partners to technically qualify solutions map out customer technology needs and architect frameworks that maximize the value of their IT investments.
• Relationship & Silo Bridging: Build deep trusted relationships across the customers IT silos to comprehensively map out their infrastructure identify core challenges and understand the technical impact of planned projects.
• Early-Stage Advisory: Act as a valued high-impact resource early in the customers decision-making process providing technical guidance during the conceptual and ideation stages.
• Technical Leadership & Hands-On Validation: Lead coordinate and execute complex product integration demonstrations customized Trials and Proofs of Concept (POCs) tailored directly to the clients unique environment.
• Solution Alignment & Differentiators: Effectively position and present Broadcoms technical benefits and key competitive differentiators ensuring that all proposed solution requirements are clearly communicated understood and aligned with client expectations.
• Documentation & Technical Specifications: Provide robust technical specifications and requirements documentation to fully support and justify the proposed architectural solutions.
• Continuous Engagement: Maintain expert-level technical knowledge of Broadcom Mainframe Software products to constantly elevate the quality of customer interactions and unlock additional value-add opportunities.

• Solution Modeling & Implementation: Analyze complex environment requirements to model and execute comprehensive Life Cycle Management solutions.
• Endevor Optimization & Modernization: Review and refine proposed solution plans for Endevor. Evaluate upgrades software design shifts and migration paths from legacy or competitive products to modern implementation approaches.
• Comparative Analysis: Conduct hardware and software comparative evaluations specifically tailored to maximize Life Cycle Management efficiency.
• Documentation & Technical Specifications: Provide robust technical specifications system integration instructions and requirements documentation to fully support and justify proposed architectural solutions.
• Deployment Excellence: Oversee the installation configuration and structural optimization of assigned solutions within complex customer environments.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the senior technical tier for post-implementation support resolving complex system issues.
• Strategic Advisory & Thought Leadership: Serve as an expert consultant to analyze complex customer environments and drive actionable improvements across Mainframe DevOps frameworks. Stay ahead of emerging trends in Life Cycle Management translating industry innovations into high-impact strategies and technical recommendations for enterprise clients.

• Endevor & Ecosystem Expertise: Deep understanding of Endevor (and/or competitor solutions) concepts practices and components including ACM PDM Security interface and Quick Edit.
• Environment Configuration: Proven capability to implement or upgrade Endevor build processors create inventory structures and configure life cycle elements.
• Tooling & Languages: Proficient with REXX and experienced in scripting or coding quick implementations to assist with conversion from competitive products to Endevor.
• Compilation & Utilities: Firm understanding of Endevor processors with the ability to leverage templates to assemble processors executing program compiles and other mainframe utilities (e.g. JCL).
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Cultivate a thorough understanding of the competitive marketplace to effectively position Broadcoms unique technical advantages.
• Experience & Education: Bachelors degree in technical discipline combined with 8 years of experience working with Mainframe DevOps and Endevor (or competitive solutions).

• Requirement Translation: Active listening skills with the ability to translate complex client requests into clear structured business needs and execution objectives.
• Stakeholder Delivery Updates: Proven capability to deliver professional written updates to project managers and customers regarding milestone progress and task statuses.
• Knowledge Transfer: Strong technical communication skills to lead post-implementation knowledge transfer sessions ensuring customer teams are fully equipped to manage the solution.
• Structured Alignment: Experienced in aligning daily execution with established project management communication frameworks to maintain clear visibility across all teams.

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of related mainframe experience.
