Clerical Assistant Temporary Position

Harvest Preparatory Academy is a K-12 Charter School located in Yuma Arizona. We are currently accepting applications for a Temporary Clerical Assistant position in ourDistrict Officelocation. Harvest Preparatory Academy prides itself on excellence; we are looking for a candidate that will enhance our level of excellence and take pride in their work.

Looking for a dependable punctual and clerically strong individual. Must have good customer service skills; who is interested in possible advancement. Position will start at 30hrs per week with potential for growth. This assignment is temporary and expected to last approximately three to six months but has the potential to turn full time.

Duties:

Completes data entry filing reports assists in covering reception (if needed) complete clerical projects utilizing Microsoft Office softwareoperates office equipment such as copiers fax machines computers and other equipment. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years experience in office and/or clerical
• Bilingual (Preferred but not required)

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of general clerical and record-keeping techniques.
• Knowledge of standard office practices principles and methods.
• Knowledge of filing methods and procedures.
• Skill in the use of a personal computer and related software.
• Skill in English composition grammar spelling and punctuation.
• Skill in verbal and written communication.
• Skill in following oral and written instructions.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
