Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Roll-Off and Vacuum truck experience
- Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer including hands-on informationregardingoperations safety equipment emergencyresponseand administrativefunctions.
- Hands-on operation vacuum equipment andhydroblastingequipment.
- Operation of special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressurepumps.
- Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specializedhydroblastingand/or chemical cleaning equipment vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on thejob.
- May berequiredto examine surfacecleanedto ensure conformance to company and customerspecifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on thejob.
- Perform any and all duties associated with liquid vacs air machines and jetrodders.
- May direct a crewof vacuumtechnicians.
- May transport equipment and personnel to and from customerlocations.
- Completepre and post trip inspectionsdriverslogs andcomplywithall other vehiclepoliciesand DOTrequirements.
- Loading and unloadinghoses.
- Unloadvacuumtruck at the dumpsite.
- Provide general maintenancein thefield.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training on-the-jobtrainingand essential experience gained on otherjobs.
- Languageproficiency: understand English at a level tocomprehendsafety training and respond to instructions in emergencysituations.
- Valid drivers license CDL Class A or B and other requirements ofcompanysdriving policy required when drivingcompanyvehicle or usingpersonalvehicle oncompanybusiness.
- Smartphonerequiredfor Electronic LoggingDevice.
- Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may berequired.
- Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment such as fireextinguishers.
- Experienceoperatinga vacuumtruck.
- Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
What does it take to work forHPC-Industrial
- High school diploma/GED or equivalentexperience.
- Class A or B CDL Licenserequired.
- HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements preferred.
