We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a Class A driver for sewer & water services repairs/replacements at ourBridgeport branch located in Stratford CT. The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00 depending on experience.

As a Class A driver for Roto-Rooter Services Company you may drive vehicles such as heavy-duty plumbing trucks septic pump trucks vacuum trucks or sewer jetting vehicles.

• Follow OSHA Department of Transportation (DOT) and Root-Rooter safety procedures
• Interact with customers as needed
• Perform manual labor in an open excavation
• Operate and maintain equipment
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches

Other responsibilities may include but not limited to; set up hoses pumps and mechanical systems to clean septic tanks or clear municipal sewer lines; Ensure all heavy tools waste tanks and construction materials are safely loaded balanced and tied down before transit; Help unload materials set up job site safety perimeters or assist technicians with hands-on tasks when needed and even interact professionally with clients on-site explain service procedures and confirm delivery or pumping details!

• Current CDL Class A license
• Construction experience a plus in both residential and commercial
• Able to work in confined spaces and open trenches
• Complete jobs within specified time lines
• Able to help out in excavation digs equipment operator a major plus.
• Trenchless water sewer & gas experience a plus
• Work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends
