Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles including tractor-trailers.
Transport and deliver freight according to assigned routes schedules and customer requirements.
Perform required pre-tripenroute and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Properly load secure inspect and protect cargo during transit.
Follow all applicable DOT regulations hours-of-service requirements traffic laws company policies and customer-site rules.
Maintain accurate electronic or written logs delivery documents bills of lading inspection reports and other required records.
Communicate with dispatch regarding routes delays deliveries vehicle issues and changes in operating conditions.
Safely maneuver vehicles at loading docks yards parking areas and customer locations.
Promptly report accidents traffic violations mechanical problems cargo damage and unsafe conditions.
Maintain a clean and professional vehicle work area and appearance.
Provide courteous and professional service to customers and operational partners.
Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record required.
Current DOT medical certification required.
LTL/City driving experience preferred.
Knowledge of DOT regulations hours-of-service requirements and transportation compliance standards.
Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial motor vehicles in varied driving and weather conditions.
Ability to accurately complete logs bills of lading inspection reports and transportation records.
Strong customer service communication judgment and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to safety cargo security and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Ability to work overtime extended hours and flexible schedules when required.
Must be able to speak read and write in English.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent entering and exiting of commercial vehicles standing walking bending stooping kneeling crouching reaching climbing pushing pulling and lifting. Employees must be able to perform required vehicle and cargo inspections secure loads and lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. when required.
Safety Expectations
Employees are expected to comply with all company safety policies applicable DOT requirements OSHA standards TSA requirements where applicable and customer-site safety rules. Employees must immediately report accidents injuries unsafe conditions equipment damage cargo damage and regulatory concerns.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
*The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
