Class A CDL Local Driver Home Nightly

TA Services is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with at least 2 years of CDL driving experience.

Shift:

• 1st Shift - Local

Responsibilities 

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections along with light preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policies
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report vehicle defects accidents or violations promptly

Work Environment

• Fast-paced local deliveries and loading dock environments
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Physical work including occasional lifting climbing and extended sitting while driving

Qualifications :

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving
• Previous experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferred

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 23 years old
• No DWI/DUI on MVR in the past 3 years
• No more than one at-fault accident on MVR within the past 3 years
• Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screen

Additional Information :

Pay/Benefits/Perks

• $31/hr
• Accrue up to five days PTO in first year
• Two weeks vacation plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary
