Role Overview

A civil and transportation engineering firm in Phoenix AZ is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead land development and site development projects from planning through execution. This role focuses on technical leadership project management client relationship development and successful project delivery within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead residential and site land development projects
• Manage internal engineering teams and external subconsultants
• Develop project scopes cost proposals and contract negotiations
• Oversee project budgets schedules and resource planning
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships
• Supervise mentor and develop engineering staff
• Ensure QA/QC standards and technical accuracy across projects
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D within project design and delivery processes
• Manage multiple deadlines and project priorities effectively

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required
• Minimum 8 years of land development experience required
• Arizona PE license required or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Experience managing client relationships and contract negotiations
• Strong project management and technical leadership abilities
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills
