Based out of our newly relocatedDes Moines IA office in the heart of downtown thisSummer 2027opportunity offers hands-on experience with real transportation infrastructure projects one-on-one mentorship from seasoned professionals and the chance to contribute to innovative design solutions that make a difference.
- Assist in the preparation of roadway and transportation design plans using OpenRoads Designer and other design software
- Support the development of construction documents cost estimates and technical reports
- Perform basic engineering calculations and data analysis
- Collaborate with engineers project managers and other interns on multidisciplinary projects
- Participate in team meetings site visits and client presentations as appropriate
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Previous Civil Engineering experience through an internship or co-op
- MicroStation Open Roads Designer (ORD) or AutoCAD Civil3D experience
