As a Civil Engineer you will be part of a site/civil engineering team designing Land Development projects including mixed-use developments townhomes single-family multi-family residential subdivisions and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The design and preparation of land development projects in the Central Florida area.
- Design grading erosion control sanitary sewer water storm sewer and roadways.
- Design & coordinate with the engineering team and other disciplines to meet project objectives.
- Assist with various duties such as engineering records permitting or obtaining existing utility right of way records.
- Work with engineering design teams on stormwater management modeling and design preparing calculation packages site grading utility design hydraulic calculations and cost estimating.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years professional work experience in Engineering.
- P.E. in State of FL or ability to obtain within 2 years.
- Ability to design land development projects from initial stages through final construction documents
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD WaterCAD ICPR and Civil 3D required.
- Experience required in stormwater modeling and drainage design; roadway utility and site design; and land development road and utility design.
- Self-starter detail oriented and technically sound with engineering principles & practices.
- Work experience in a civil firm desired.
- Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
