As a Designer you will be part of a site/civil engineering team designing Land Development projects including mixed-use developments townhomes single-family multi-family residential subdivisions and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The design and preparation of land development projects in the Central Florida area.
- Work with and coordinate with engineering team and other disciplines to meet project objectives.
- Design grading erosion control sanitary sewer water storm sewer and roadways.
- Review the plans for completeness accuracy and quality control.
- Identify troubleshoot and suggest solutions to problems to complete the project.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years professional work experience in the Civil Engineering field.
- Must be a self-starter detail-oriented and technically sound in engineering principles and practices.
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and WaterCAD. Civil 3D and ArcGIS a plus.
- Ability to design Land Development projects from initial stages through final construction documents.
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with site grading plan-profile drawings cross sections pressurized pipe and gravity pipe systems roadway and subdivision layout stormwater management erosion and sediment control and construction drawing preparation.
- Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
