The City of Richfield Minnesota is seeking a City Manager for this first-ring suburb located immediately south of Minneapolis offering the convenience of a major metropolitan area with the character of an established neighborhood community. Home to 38482 residents Richfield is situated adjacent to the MinneapolisSaint Paul International Airport and minutes from the Mall of America. THE CITY OF RICHFIELD
The City of Richfield is a full-service city serving a population of 38482 across 7 square miles in Hennepin County Minnesota. The City operates with a 2026 budget of $105 million and a team of 245 FTEs across 9 departments: Administrative Services Community Development Executive Finance Fire Human Resources Public Safety Public Works and Recreation Services. Richfield operates under the Council-Manager form of government with a City Council consisting of a Mayor and four Council Members serving four-year terms.
