Child Watch Coordinator

As the Child Watch Coordinator youll lead the YMCA Child Watch program so families can work out with confidence-knowing their children are safe welcomed and engaged. This onsite role in Lancaster PA which pays $10.50$13.50/hour.

Key responsibilities:
- Run daily Child Watch operations in line with YMCA policies and applicable state regulations
- Provide vigilant supervision and create a positive play-focused environment
- Hire train coach and evaluate Child Watch staff with leadership support
- Build and maintain staff schedules; manage program materials responsibly
- Complete required documentation (incident/accident reports packets attendance records)
- Follow health hygiene and infection-control practices
- Enforce child protection standards mandated reporting and confidentiality

Required qualifications/skills:
- Age 21; HS diploma/GED preferred
- 13 years working with children; 1 year supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to obtain clearances (State Police Child Abuse FBI fingerprints) and CPR/AED/First Aid and mandated reporter training
