- Temporary hourly-intermittent work study position available in Child Development.
- Start Date
- Positionavailable on or after September 1 2026 and ending on or before May 21 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget department needs and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with greeting and assisting faculty students and community guests.
- Support front desk in answering phone calls for the Psychology & Child Development department.
- Answer basic questions and/or refer visitors or callers to appropriate person.
- Operate common office equipment (copy machine fax scanner etc.).
- Maintain department-wide bulletin boards.
- Alphabetize file purge data entry and scan documents.
- Create new student files update advising materials and appointment binder.
- Proctor make-up exams and handling confidential files/exams.
- Assist with set up and clean-up of events hosted by the department (i.e. Undergraduate Research Symposium CDEV Portfolio Presentations Child Development Center Family Night. Etc.).
- Run department errands to various other department offices throughout campus
- Pickup and distribute mail to faculty and staff.
- Assist department administrative coordinators with various activities within the department as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates the capability to be able to follow instructions and multi-task.
- Demonstrates the ability to respond calmly and professionally to pressure.
- Demonstrates ability to be dependable and punctual.
- Demonstrates basic computer skills and intermediate skills with Microsoft Programs.
- Demonstrates strong organization skills.
- Demonstrates good customer service and phone skills.
Required Qualifications:- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
- Salary Range
- $16.90 per hour
