Job Summary
- Pay: $18-$22 hour DOE AND Amazing Bonus Structure (sign-on and referral bonuses available)
- Schedule Notes: CHILD CARE CENTER OPEN 6A-8P.
- A 7.5 HOUR SHIFT WOULD BE WITHIN THOSE HOURS (M-F)
- MUST HAVE 2 YEARS CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE
- Duration: 3 month direct hire
- Plan develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities to promote childrens cognitive social language gross and fine motor development independence and self-esteem.
- Document childrens daily progress activities and observations; maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports and feedback for parents.
- Implement Reggio Emilia concepts in indoor and outdoor classrooms while supporting program goals that encourage childrens autonomy family involvement and individual development.
- Ensure a clean safe and healthy classroom environment by following infection control procedures maintaining equipment and supplies identifying hazards and adhering to licensing and accreditation standards.
- Supervise teacher aides and volunteers maintain adequate playground supervision and collaborate with teachers team leaders supervisors and directors to address childrens and classroom needs.
- Follow established policies and regulatory guidelines participate in staff meetings and continuing education support smooth transitions for children and families and perform additional duties or assignments as required.
- Previous experience working with children ages six (6) weeks to six (6) years of age (paid or unpaid).
- Two (2) years of formal experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience: -Experience specifically working with children six (6) weeks to two (2) years old. -Familiarity with the Reggio philosophical approach to education for children. Required Education: -Two (2) year degree in early childhood education child psychology psychology or closely related field. -High School Diploma or equivalent. -Minimum of 40 hours of coursework in early childhood education or related field (i.e. Child Psychology Childrens Literature). OR -Equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education: -Bachelors or Masters degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education. Required Certifications & Licensure: -N/A Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate.
