CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER: Lexitas combines legal support services and technology innovation ideal for a strategic forward-thinking leader driving product : This role is primarily remote with occasional on-site collaboration at our Houston RANGE: $250k-$450k/yr BonusBENEFITS: Medical dental and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; paid time off and paid holidays company paid maternity baby bonding and military : ExemptABOUT THE ROLELexitas is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development and execution of our technology product strategy. This executive leadership role will drive innovation across our legal support services organization by overseeing the design development and enhancement of technology products that improve client experiences and business CTO you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology ecosystem identifying emerging trends evaluating new opportunities and ensuring our product roadmap aligns with both organizational goals and client needs. You will lead our Research & Development department foster a culture of innovation and excellence and serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology strategy investments and growth is a rapidly growing national provider of legal and corporate support services including court reporting medical record retrieval process service legal staffing and litigation support solutions. Built on a foundation of trust professionalism and innovation Lexitas delivers customized solutions with unmatched personal service to clients across the United States and RESPONSIBILITIESLead the development and execution of the organizations overall technology product strategy and the design development enhancement and lifecycle management of technology products and and implement innovative technology solutions that improve service delivery operational efficiency and client emerging technology trends and integrate relevant advancements into the product development with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors consultants and external technology products comply with applicable industry standards regulatory requirements and security product performance user adoption and business impact to drive continuous improvement mentor and develop high-performing technology and product development Lexitas at industry conferences technology forums and networking and manage technology product budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost-effective financial planning activities including forecasting budgeting investment analysis and ROI expenditures against budget targets and implement corrective actions as technology investments align with organizational financial goals and long-term growth technology strategy product roadmaps and business value effectively to executives board members and data security cybersecurity best practices privacy compliance and risk management and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure technology and product rigorous quality assurance processes that ensure high-performing scalable and reliable technology other duties and strategic initiatives as YOULL BRINGDemonstrated ability to lead technology strategy and innovation at an executive understanding of technology solutions within legal services professional services SaaS or related leadership skills with proven success building and managing high-performing mindset with the ability to identify future technology trends and translate insights into business financial acumen including budgeting forecasting resource planning and investment communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse understanding of cybersecurity data privacy and regulatory compliance developing implementing and tracking meaningful KPIs and performance to quality assurance continuous improvement and operational to build strong relationships with vendors technology partners clients and internal problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced mindset with a passion for innovation and transformational resilience and the ability to lead through to modeling Lexitas core values of Service Excellence Positivity Integrity Innovation Respect Teamwork Diversity and Entrepreneurial degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Software Development or a related field degree in Business Administration Technology Management or a related discipline of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in information technology software development technology products or SaaS experience serving as a CTO VP of Technology Head of Product & Technology or similar executive leadership success leading technology product development from concept through launch and knowledge of modern technologies software architecture cloud platforms data management and emerging technology track record managing technology budgets resources and strategic developing and executing technology strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth business acumen with demonstrated success driving product performance innovation and revenue growth through organizational project management communication multitasking and leadership RESPONSIBILITIES This position manages the Research & Development department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that SKILLSAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is LICENSES REGISTRATIONSNone DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
