Serving nearly approximately 14000 students in Oregons southern Willamette Valley Eugene School District 4J is a large complex school system with a long tradition of educational excellence innovation and community engagement. Its schools include neighborhood and alternative programs multiple language immersion pathways and International Baccalaureate opportunitiesall within a community that places a high value on public education.

Eugene 4J is seeking an accomplished financial leader to serve as its next Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the Superintendent and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team the CFO provides strategic leadership for the Districts financial and business operations and helps ensure its long-term fiscal well-being. The CFO leads financial planning and forecasting budgeting accounting and reporting internal controls procurement capital finance and compliance ensuring that financial resources and decisions are aligned with the Districts educational goals and strategic priorities.

The CFO works closely with the Superintendent and executive leadership team on significant strategic and operational initiatives; leads and develops a high-performing Financial Services team; and advances modern effective financial systems and processes with a commitment to excellent service and continuous improvement. The CFO also plays an important role in helping the Board Budget Committee staff and community understand complex financial information and the implications of key financial decisions.
