Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Maintenance & Operations the Chief Power Engineer- 4th Class is responsible for the safe efficient and reliable operation maintenance inspection and registrations/certifications of allequipment boiler plants chiller plants and associated systems within Nova Scotia Health facilities while ensuring all work is completed in accordance with legislation and established standards. The Chief PowerEngineer oversees all power engineers plant operators and trainees for the assigned site(s). This positionmust also liaise communicate supervise and work with the other trades contractors and onsite supervisors tocomplete repairs replace equipment complete upgrades prioritize and problem solve as required.

- 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate required
- One year experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in equipment tools and vehicles related to the work environment
- Travel may be required access to reliable transportation is required
- Competencies in other languages an asset French preferred

$31.68 - $37.43 Hourly
