Position: Chemicals Safety for Redteaming
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65$75/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry labeled as benign dual-use or adversarial.
• Evaluate model responses against defined policy standards to ensure correct handling.
• Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Judge the calibration of prompts distinguishing between mechanism and procedure.
• Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience in synthesis analytical chemistry or chemical safety.
• Strong technical writing skills with a clear rationale for judgments.

Preferred

• Experience in AI evaluation or red-teaming.
• Backgrounds in Chemical Defense Research Synthetic/Process Chemistry Analytical Chemistry Industrial Hygiene or Forensic/Toxicological Chemistry.
