Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Own a defined design project or project segment contributing to new product development sensor design improvement or technology investigation efforts.
  • Design and execute laboratory experiments and evaluations to characterize sensor or system performance.
  • Develop test plans and propose design approaches for investigating technical questions or validating design concepts.
  • Analyze experimental data and translate findings into actionable design recommendations.
  • Document results through technical reports design summaries and presentations to project teams and leadership.
  • Research and source materials components or equipment needed to support design objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineers chemists technicians manufacturing personnel and other stakeholders across functional disciplines.
  • Support test solution preparation laboratory equipment maintenance and test setup development.
  • Maintain laboratory safety by safely handling chemicals and following established testing procedures.
  • Support additional technical initiatives as business needs arise.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
  • Zero (0) years of related professional experience required
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location(Shakopee Chanhassen or Eden Prairie MN)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Coursework or project experience in analytical chemistry electrochemistry or sensor design
  • Familiarity with measurement technologies such as pH conductivity dissolved oxygen or optical sensing
  • Laboratory experience including safe chemical handling practices
  • Prior internship or undergraduate research experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
