Chemical Cleaning Technician

• Must always come to work fit for duty.
• Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment such as but not limited to pumps hoses and circulators in accordance with operations job schematics training guidelines and safety procedures.
• Monitor all equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.
• Perform chemical injection and mixing activities under direction of supervision.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices including but not limited to wearing personal protective equipment.
• Maintain personal PPE.
• Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud hazardous hot and cold industrial environments.
• Maintain and perform premaintenance on equipment.
• Help install fix repair valves caps hoses pump gaskets and all other external and internal equipment as needed.
• Assist in the inspection of equipment hoses pumps hose connections chemical circulators and general work area prior to starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies which may cause accidents injuries or lost productivity.

• General labor experience is a plus.
• Experience in chemical cleaning is a plus.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
• Valid drivers license or identification card.
• Respond to emergency calls 24 hours 7 days a week if called upon.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space in extreme temperature environments and at high elevations.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Ability to lift move and handle up to 50lbs.
• Physically capable of standing and or walking continuously for extended periods of time if necessary.
• Physically capable of climbing bending / stooping and kneeling continuously.
