Guaranteed Hours:32 Hours per week baseline

Shift:Night Shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM / 9:30 PM - 7:00 AM as per department schedule) every3rd weekendwith holiday rotation.

Job Summary

Mile Bluff Medical Center is seeking a reliable and patient-centricCertified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A)for a 13-week acute care Med/Surg assignment on the night shift. The C.N.A will provide vital daily living and basic clinical support to patient populations ranging from neonatal through geriatric care inside a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• ADL Assistance:Help patients with essential activities of daily living including bathing dressing oral care feeding toileting ambulation turning and precise repositioning.
• Clinical Data Entry:Perform highly accurate intake and output measurements record daily weights track vital signs perform fingerstick blood glucose testing and collect specimens.
• Floor Surveillance:Promptly answer call lights and patient requests maintaining clean organized and secure patient environments.
• Direct Reporting:Monitor patient status diligently and report any sudden or gradual changes in condition directly to the supervising Med/Surg Registered Nurse.
• Documentation:Chart all shifts actions and care metrics accurately utilizing the facilitysMeditech EMRsystem.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure:Must possess a currently active completely unrestrictedWisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant certificationat the time of profile submission.
• Certifications:Valid AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience Preferred:Minimum of1 yearsof related acute care hospital or high-volume sub-acute care work experience is preferred though highly competent profiles with less than a year of experience will be actively considered.
• Availability:Flexible scheduling compliance for night shifts holiday coverage blocks and an expected rotation of every3rd weekend.
