Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm
Occasional float when needed
Overview
The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training education and competency evaluations and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Experience
- Less than a year of related experience required
- Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
Education
- High School Diploma OR equivalency required
Certification
Must have one of the following on the first day of employment:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Registered Medical Assistant
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Certified EMT (EMT-B)
BLS within 90 days of hire date
