Job Summary

Heres What You Need:
  • High School Diploma (REQUIRED
  • One year of experience as a CMA (PREFERRED)
  • Valid Certification as a Medical Assistant (REQUIRED)
  • Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Exception Quarterly - 90 days upon hire (REQUIRED)
  • Willing to consider a New CMA with no experience and/or Externship
What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
  • Conducts patient check out surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
  • Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
  • Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
  • May work in the front office as needed
  • May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager more senior staff or as requested by healthcare provider(s)

**Sign-On for Eligible New Hires**
Work location: 1900 Mistletoe Blvd - Suite 200 Fort Worth TX 76104 with travel to 203 Walls Drive - Suite 104 Cleburne TX 76033 every other Friday
Work hours: Full-time; 40 hours weekly; Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
