Certified Forklift Operator Warehouse II

This role focuses on operating sit down and stand up forklifts to efficiently handle materials in a busy warehouse environment. You will be part of a team supporting the shipment and receipt of climate control products ensuring safe and accurate movement of goods.

• PAY RATE: 20.00 hour
• HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F
• LOCATION: Austin TX 78728

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products under general supervision.
• Operate sit down and/or stand up forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Receive goods verify items against shipment records and inspect condition.
• Gather verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Drug test and background check required.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts.
• Basic reading writing and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.

Work Environment

• Work hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
