This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Researcher position for CEOAS at Oregon State University (OSU).
This student researcher will assist with lab experiments in underwater acoustics and remote sensing gaining experience and knowledge in ocean measurement technologies. Specific duties may vary dependent on project needs. May include occasional field work.
Position Duties
- Perform lab experiments under supervisor direction; analyze data and produce reports; write instrument software using Matlab and other languages; generate documentation of lab procedures; assist with field instrument deployments and data collection

- Scheduled in-person meetings with supervisor to occur at least once per week when experiments are active.
- Working schedule is up to approximately 8 hours per week varying dependent on project needs.
