CDL Driver Class A

This role is in support of Cencoras global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

Were hiring a CDL Driver (Class A) to safely and efficiently complete time-critical local pickups and deliveries between client sites World Courier facilities and area airports. This role is essential to protecting shipment integrity (including cold chain) and delivering an outstanding client experience through accuracy communication and on-time performance.

Location: Newburgh NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00am - 9:00am

Compensation: Pay starting at $33.65/hr with potential for up to $35.40/hr based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials performance incentives and referral bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs pickup delivery loading unloading and transfer activities to support accurate and timely movement of materials and products.
• Supports receiving checking storing and replenishing inventory to maintain stock accuracy and product availability.
• Maintains shipment inspection receipt inventory and delivery documentation to support traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Inspects assigned vehicles equipment and cargo conditions before and after transport and reports safety maintenance or shipment issues for resolution.
• Communicates delivery instructions shipment updates and discrepancies to support service continuity and effective coordination of daily logistics activities.
• Maintains warehouse and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition to support safe handling inventory control and operational readiness.
• Provides routine customer and administrative support related to delivery inventory and warehouse activities.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

• 2 years of experience in logistics transportation warehouse operations inventory control or a related field required.

• Certification in forklift operation licensure in commercial vehicle operation appropriate for assigned vehicle class and transported materials or equivalent preferred.
