Safely operate a company owned straight truck with flatbed for local supplier pickups and customer deliveries.
Load secure and transport steel and other materials on flatbed equipment for outbound freight.
Unload inbound steel and materials from flatbed and delivery vehicles.
Comply with all DOT and company safety requirements including pre trip and post trip inspections.
Perform routine vehicle care and promptly report maintenance needs.
Perform rush or early deliveries when standard courier options are unavailable.
Operate material handling equipment (forklifts pallet jacks etc.) safely and efficiently.
Maintain material handling equipment through pre use inspections and basic operator maintenance including battery watering as needed.
