AHF Products has a job opportunity for a CDC Warehandler to be located in Crossville TN.

JOB DUTIES:

• Operate a Class 8 tractor/trailer and/or truck to deliver ceramic tile and other products.
• Adhere to an assigned delivery schedule following all delivery requirements.
• Obey all regulatory agency and company safety directives.
• Call Supervisor to work with customers when necessary and report any instances of customer dissatisfaction.
• Complete a thorough safety check on the truck before leaving domicile location to ensure that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of the truck are in compliance with all federal state and local regulations.
• Obey all traffic laws and weight limits.
• Call Supervisor and report any problems or irregularities with the truck or deliver.
• Complete and file all ELD logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
• Follow safety guidelines and company standards utilizing PPE as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Perform any other duties that may be required or assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Class A CDL license and a clean driving recordââ
• Two (2) years of over-the-road and/or local experienceoperatinga Class 8 (80000 GVW)â4tractor/trailer or successful completion of an accredited driving training school combined with one (1) year of over-the-road and/or local driving experience.ââ
• Must be at least 18 years of ageââ
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detailââ
• Strong problem-solving skillsââ
• Positive attitude and strong work ethicââ
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employeesââ
• Must be available to work overtime as necessary and other shifts as necessaryââ
• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test physical and criminal background checkââ

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent climbing bending walking/standing 8 hours a day squatting reaching pushing and pulling tile.â
• Frequent lifting 50-100 pounds either alone or with the assistance of another employee in conformity with lifting techniques detailed in safety policies and training materials.â
• Frequently working at heightsâ
• Frequent dexterity with hands for use of equipmentâ
• Frequent vision must be sufficient to see and locate items clearlyâ
