Position: CDL- A Local Driver (Oregon)
R2 Contractors is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL- A Driver to support construction operations throughout Oregon. This is a local driving position allowing drivers to be home regularly while playing a key role in transporting heavy equipment and materials to project sites across the region. With occasional OTR trips.
What Youll Do
- Safely transport heavy construction equipment and materials to and from Arizona job sites.
- Operate a variety of CDL-class vehicles including lowboy trailers dump trucks flatbeds and other heavy-haul equipment.
- Assist field crews as needed at project locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Load secure and transport equipment in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Follow all company policies safety procedures and transportation requirements.
- Maintain accurate paperwork inspection reports and delivery documentation.
- Valid Class A CDL is required.
- Experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Experience operating forklifts pallet jacks or similar material-handling equipment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- $22-$32 per hour DOE.
