At Mast Trucking our in-house CDL Training Program is built around experienced professionals who believe safety professionalism and good judgment can be taught. As an Instructor youll use your experience behind the wheel to prepare new drivers for successful careers not just help them pass a test. What Youll Do

• Train new CDL students in backing maneuvering road driving and defensive driving techniques

• Provide real-time coaching with clear respectful and constructive feedback

• Demonstrate safe driving habits and professional decision-making every day

• Adapt your teaching style to meet different learning personalities and experience levels

• Evaluate trainee progress and identify areas needing additional coaching

• Partner with fellow instructors to continually improve our training program

• Help develop confident safety-focused professional drivers

Who Were Looking For

• CDL-A required with solid driving experience

• Excellent safety record and strong commitment to doing things the right way

• Patient calm and confident when coaching others

• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide variety of personalities

• Dependable professional and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons

• Someone who enjoys helping others succeed and takes pride in seeing trainees grow

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 3 years of experience with Class A tractor trailers

• Reefer experience preferred

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• No DUIs in the past 5 years

• Able to pass a DOT physical drug screen and background check
