Role Overview

A dedicated retail freight operation based out of St. George UT is seeking CDL-A drivers for regional Family Dollar store deliveries throughout the Western United States. Drivers will haul dry freight while performing physical unloads using rollers at customer locations. This role is ideal for drivers who prefer hands-on work and want consistent weekly home time with strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport dry freight to retail store locations across regional routes
• Deliver freight throughout NV CA AZ MT NM ND SD UT and WY
• Unload freight using rollers at ground-level delivery locations
• Climb in and out of trailers during unloading as needed
• Complete an average of 12 loads per week with 23 stops per load
• Occasionally pick up backhaul freight returning to the distribution center
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Accurately maintain logs and delivery documentation

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license required
• Ability to handle touch freight and roller unload deliveries
• Comfortable with physically active unloading work
• Ability to climb in and out of trailers repeatedly throughout shifts
• Comfortable operating regional Western routes
• Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance
• Ability to work long shifts based on freight demand

Compensation & Benefits

• Average weekly pay: $1759
• Top 10% weekly pay: $2274
• Average annual pay: $91000
• Top 10% annual pay: $118000
• CPM pay structure based on experience
• Additional pay per load averaging $320
• Safe & On-Time bonus up to 3% of mileage pay

Schedule & Home Time

• Weekly 34-hour reset
• Start time around 6:00 AM
• Drivers may work up to 14 hours per shift
