The CBHC Clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient mental health and substance use assessment and treatment to children adults and families.

The Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) Licensed Clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient mental health and substance use assessment and treatment to children adults and families.

The positions specific duties include:

(1)Serve as primary clinician for assigned CBHC participants. Complete comprehensive bio/psycho/social assessment with clients. Determine health status and assess for risk. Complete diagnosis. Engage clients and collaborate with team to develop integrated treatment (IT) plan. Identify CBHC services and other supports required to enable the client to meet IT goals. Develop written crisis management plans and share bidirectionally with crisis mental health services.

(2) Participate in training on the CBHCs identified Evidence-based practices (EBTs) and provide outpatient treatment consistent with these practices.

(3) Support assigned clients through EBTs including Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Cognitive Processing Therapy Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Motivational Interviewing Seeking Safety and Smoke-Free program.

(4) Participate in training on data collection protocols and implement data collection tools with clients.

(5) Develop discharge plans for aftercare as needed for clients upon meeting treatment goals.

(6) Serve on integrated treatment team.

(7) Engage individuals in participating in other CBHC services e.g. Peer Support Recovery Coaching Care Management Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Social Support Opportunities and Community Recovery Supports.

(8) Participate in training and provide treatment and service linkages to veterans and active military.

(9) Provide consultation to schools and social service agencies as needed.

(10) Provide outreach services to clients as needed.

(11) Maintain up to date client records including written evaluations treatment plans quarterly reviews termination summaries and progress notes in accordance with division deadlines.

(12) Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.

(13) Attend trainings as assigned.

(14) Attend and actively participate in supervision teaming and clinical rounds with medical team.

(15) Ensure that clients are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates Human Rights Policy.

(16) Adhere to all Advocates Way principles.

(17) Perform all duties in accordance with the agencys policies and procedures. Follow agency Performance Standards. Salary: Seventy-six thousand six-hundred six dollars and forty cents to Eighty thousand eight-hundred twenty-eight dollars and eighty cents per year.

The employerrequiresat least a masters degree in Social Work Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field that makes the candidate eligible to become LICSW LMHC or LMFT.The candidate must also have a current independent license with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
