Job Summary
The Catbridge Operator is responsible for setting up running and monitoring high-performance converting machinery to produce precision rolls according to product specifications. The role involves managing machine controls inspecting output quality troubleshooting basic mechanical or digital functions and maintaining a safe clean work area.
Machine Operation & Oversight: Operate Catbridge slitter-rewinders unwinds or other converting equipment adjusting digital recipes tension controls and automated settings
Setup & Adjustments: Perform pre-run setups including knife and core placement loading material rolls and configuring automated workflows.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic mechanical repairs clear jams report major malfunctions and keep machinery clean and well-maintained.
Material Handling: Safely operate equipment such as a forklift or overhead hoist to load and unload heavy raw and finished rolls
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing converting or machine-operating environment
Skills: Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations computer literacy for touch-screen or PLC interface controls and good verbal/written communication
