Case Coordinator AssistantMinistry: Emergency AssistancePrimary Office: Sterling VA Hours per Week: Part-time 20 hours (non-exempt)Staff Supervisor: Program DirectorTelework Available: NoHourly Wage Range: $21.91 - $22.38Position Description: Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington (CCDA) Emergency Assistance (EA) ministry provides funds to individuals and families experiencing a financial emergency. The EA Case Coordinator Assistant is responsible for assisting EA staff with administrative tasks such as responding to emails from individuals and agency referrals requesting emergency financial services and assisting applicants in completing accurate and timely emergency assistance applications. Position Responsibilities:Provide referrals and weblinks for applicants to access services within CCDA programs or externally for housing employment and other basic new community resources and maintain up-to-date referral resources for the alignment with Agency and Ministry standards maintain up-to-date and accurate client files and collaboratively with case managers and collateral contacts in identifying needed resources for alignment with Ministry standards assist EA case coordinators with responding to inquiries and ineligible applicants. Responsible for updating EA Partner referral direct support to Program Director for budget client assistance and vendor payment Duties:Willing to travel within the Diocese of Arlington as to uphold Catholic social teaching in the with client events and community outreach. Other job-related duties as & Skills:Able to multi-task in a fast-paced work listening written and oral communication skills in English; additionally bilingual in written and spoken Spanish to adapt communication methods to meet cultural preferences with sensitivity. Ability to work in a team setting and independently with minimal to learn new tasks and procedures comply with processes complete tasks independently make timely decisions in the context of a & Experience:Associates degree with at least 1-year experience in the provision of human services is preferred. Experience assisting underserved populations working with volunteers in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and other relevant web and software with database data entry Demands:Must be able to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 vision abilities include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust :Vacation Sick 15 paid holidays in 2026 Employee Assistance Program.
