Carptenter Construction Supervisor

The Carpentry Supervisor plans schedules assign directs and supervises the work performed by bargaining unit staff. Responsible for overall supervision of maintenance repair fabrication installation and modification work on buildings/components offices corridors etc. Assures work quality and progress in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement JHH standards and local state and federal codes. This work is performed under limited supervision and using the tools and techniques of carpentry technology.

Hours: Full time (40 hours) Day Shift Weekdays

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore MD

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Requires the completion of formal training in a state-approved Journey Carpentry program at a vocational or technical school college or apprenticeship sponsor organization. Must possess a level of knowledge and skill demonstrated through passing the certification exam.

• Requires 10 years related work experience of which at least 5 years has been in a supervisory capacity.

Salary Range: Minimum 29.84/hour - Maximum 52.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
