Stewart Painting Inc is seeking a motivated and hardworking Carpentry Apprentice to join our Cape Cod team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in carpentry and gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals. As an apprentice you will assist with various carpentry tasks learn essential trade skills and contribute to high-quality residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced carpenters with framing flooring siding roofing and interior finishing work.
• Measure cut and assemble materials according to blueprints and specifications.
• Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Load unload and organize materials on job sites.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean and secure work environment.
• Learn and apply proper carpentry techniques under the supervision of journeymen and master carpenters.
• Support the team with other duties as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in construction or carpentry is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
• Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Physically able to stand for long periods climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of tools and measurements is beneficial.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites.
