Job Summary

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate with Crane Global Security to address and resolve security monitoring alerts.
  • Identify assess and action security and safety events including but not limited to unauthorized stops route deviations extended dwell loss of signal and tampering indicators.
  • Perform immediate validation by contacting carriers or drivers to confirm shipment status and security conditions.
  • Follow HVHR escalation protocols including notifying Security and leadership promptly when thresholds are met.
  • Document all actions validations and communications accurately in the system of record for audit readiness.
  • Provide shift handoffs and summaries to ensure continuity across 24/7 coverage.
  • Adhere to customerâspecific security SOPs visibility requirements and escalation matrices.
  • Support continuous improvement through trend identification and reporting on recurring security events and risks.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Job requires the ability to use vision adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen.
    • Job may require extended sitting or standing use of standard office equipment.
    • Job will require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location

    OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

    • Strong situational awareness and decisionâmaking under time pressure.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently during overnight weekend and afterâhours shifts.
    • Familiarity with GPS tracking platforms TMS systems and security monitoring tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to audit-defensible documentation.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelors degree preferred in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
      • 2 years of domestic (U.S.) transportation or logistics experience required including over-the-road freight or carrier operations.
      • Experience with GPS tracking TMS platforms and real-time shipment monitoring preferred.
      • Exposure to security monitoring HVHR shipments or control tower operations is a plus.
