Compensation: $19.00 Hour

This is a Full-Time Position. Shifts are Wednesday - Sunday (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm)

Key Responsibilities

In accordance with California Title 22 (RCFE) regulations and community standards the Caregiver will:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing grooming dressing toileting and continence care while honoring resident preferences privacy and dignity.
• Support residents with mobility ambulation positioning and transfers including the safe use of walkers wheelchairs gait belts and approved lifting techniques.
• Assist with mealtime service including meal delivery set-up cueing and feeding as permitted ensuring a gracious and enjoyable dining experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to call systems alerts and resident requests to ensure safety comfort and peace of mind.
• Observe document and immediately report any changes in residents physical condition cognitive status or emotional well being to appropriate licensed or supervisory staff in compliance with Title 22 reporting requirements.
• Provide light housekeeping services related to resident care such as laundry bed making and tidying living spaces to maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment.
• Encourage residents as appropriate to participate in maintaining their personal living spaces to support independence and safety.
• Offer warm companionship engaging residents in conversation recreational programming and social activities that enrich daily life.
• Promote participation in community life and contribute to a vibrant inclusive and respectful atmosphere.
• Adhere to all community policies infection control practices resident rights and confidentiality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience in assisted living memory care or a related setting preferred; training provided for qualified candidates.
• Ability to safely use mobility aids adaptive equipment and basic household appliances.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire as required by Title 22).
• Basic computer skills including email and electronic documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented compassionate and team-focused approach.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with all regulatory requirements.
