Job Summary

This is a fast-paced multi-tasking role where no two days look the same and where your ability to stay organized follow through and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.

- Create a welcoming professional first impression for patients visitors and referral sources
- Handle front desk operations including patient check-in check-out scheduling insurance verification/authorization and phone calls
- Review schedule and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information creating or updating patient records and helping patients understand next steps
- Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments working waitlists filling cancellations and following up with patients who need future visits
- Collect copays balances and other patient payments accurately and professionally including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed
- Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role this could include retail hospitality call center medical reception or any setting where you regularly interacted with the public in person or over the phone
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once while staying organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable and confident communicating on the phone including handling incoming calls with patience and professionalism
- Basic computer proficiency: comfortable learning new systems navigating scheduling software sending emails and working in spreadsheets
- No prior medical experience required we provide comprehensive training including EMR navigation insurance fundamentals scheduling workflows and phone etiquette

Compensation: $18-$20/Hourly
