HSHS St. Elizabeths Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Dedical On Call Team with our Cardiac Cath Lab! In this role youll play an essential part in supporting physicians during a variety of invasive and diagnostic/interventional procedures including cardiac vascular neuro and electrophysiology procedures. Youll work alongside a collaborative team to provide safe high-quality care while helping make a meaningful difference in the patient experience.

Position Specifics:
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Core Function: Imaging
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week 30-minute response time required while on call

Paid for 40 hours per week including during your scheduled week off
One week on / one week off call rotation (Monday to Monday)
Weeknight call: 5:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.
Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts during your scheduled week off

Three mandatory day shifts per month are required as part of this position - shifts are typically 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

Education Qualifications

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology allied health applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.

Experience Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.
  • Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least three (3) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed.

Certifications Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
