Qualifications:

• Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License; Board Certification required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of outpatient cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience in an outpatient setting.
• Travel: Must be open to traveling within the boroughs of NY
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems cardiac diagnostics (e.g. EKG stress tests) and treatment protocols.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication empathy teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cardiovascular assessments diagnose conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to manage chronic and acute cardiac issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g. echocardiograms Holter monitors).
• Educate patients on heart health lifestyle modifications and medication management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with practice standards.
