You will practice at a large full-service medical center in Central Texas a teaching hospital campus with inpatient and outpatient services on-site imaging laboratory pharmacy and a broad multispecialty medical staff. Support is built in: scheduling nursing and ancillary teams handle the administrative load so your day stays clinical. The patient population is stable insured and largely young to middle-aged families and working adults.

• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular disease in the outpatient clinic
• Interpret ECGs echocardiograms and stress testing
• Provide inpatient cardiology consultation as scheduled
• Develop and manage long-term treatment plans and risk-factor modification
• Collaborate with primary care on a defined referral population

• Active unrestricted Texas medical license (or license from another U.S. state with Texas licensure in process)
• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Non-invasive imaging competency (echocardiography stress testing)

MondayFriday days core clinic and reading blocks. Scheduled call and an average of 12 weekends per month per the published coverage schedule which is issued 90 days in advance. Federal holidays off.
