Job Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional and open means of communication with ICE management.
- Conduct entry inspection of officers entering the facility. Provide when needed reports to management on number of incidents at Temperature Station.
- Provide assistance to the Detention Management Unit.
- Observe shift muster; provide pass down to on-coming shift; conduct personnel inspection forward discrepancy reports as necessary to the PM/Assistant Project Managers.
- Directly supervising the Officers on shift in performance of duties regarding company policy ICE Policy PBNDS PREA and Facility SOP.
- Review Supervisor Post Checks/Prepare Daily Operations summary.
- Supervise shift operations ensuring Officers are performing their duties in accordance with post orders. Oversee all counts are conducted at prescribed times.
- Conducting employee/Detainee injury investigations in accordance with policies ensuring photos are taken and reports prepared.
- Reviewing Record of Presence to ensure all shift personnel have signed in/out properly. (The off-going shift Lieutenant will not depart until all ROP issues are resolved.)
- Conducting daily equipment inventory of controlled equipment.
- Performing all duties within the scope of facility safety and security.
- Supervisors shall be familiar with all areas of the buildings and surrounding grounds to insure a quick response to routine and emergency calls.
- Perform all designated guard functions including monitoring and responding to officer assistance calls building fire alarm electronic security systems closed circuit television and participation in fire evacuation and other emergency evacuation plans.
- Other Duties assigned by Contract Security Command (APM and PM). And or ICE management to complete the mission objectives.
Requirements:
- 10 years experience as a detention/corrections operations Supervisor of equal or lower rank and/or SNCO or Commission with Honorable Discharge.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Computer skills including proficiency in various Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Obtain and Maintain PSU Clearance
- Ability to meet Physical Requirements as required by contract.
- Preferred bachelors degree in related field.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to stand walk sit bend stoop and climb stairs for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to crouch kneel or run periodically.
- Must be able to grip squeeze and repetitively use fine hand movements.
- Must be able to run with a fire extinguisher for long distances if necessary.
- Required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Required to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
- Must be physically capable of responding to emergency situations that could include fire or physical altercations.

Work Environment:
- Work is in a correctional facility requiring attentiveness to surroundings and safety.
- Includes all areas of the secured facility. Often works alone or with minimal supervision.
- May be exposed to sharp objects or blood borne pathogens.
- Exposure to outdoor sun and climate conditions for 8 or more hours is possible.
